Novum

BRANDING

Novum is a hypothetical sustainable clothing company that I created for a class project. Along with logos and other branding elements, I developed many features of the brand that are highlighted throughout Novum’s website interface.

Novum is a company that specializes in comfortable, sustainable outerwear. I wanted the brand to emphasize these elements, as well as encourage their customers to make environmentally-friendly choices beyond just purchasing their products.

The shop page features “hottest items,” which displays customer submitted images of some of Novum’s best-selling products.

A primary concept that I focused on in my research for Novum were the materials and methods of production for sustainable brands, so I wanted the website to reflect some of that research.

A large part of developing Novum was also finding a way to encourage customers to make sustainable choices beyond just supporting the brand. I took inspiration from other environmentally-friendly companies and created a recycling system.

Another large emphasis for Novum is its social media engagement, I wanted the brand to feel personal. and I wanted customers to feel involved.
